What to See and Do

There are a number of things to see and do at the Fairgrounds, including a variety of animals, rides, a rodeo, horse shows, pig racing, demolition derby, and fireworks. The Fair is also home to a free country music show, truck and tractor pull, and many other fun events.

This year, there will be several new specialty performances at the fair. Among them, is a sea lion splash show at Midway Stage 1 and Circus Incredible, a duo that is second and seventh-generation circus performers carrying on their families’ tradition of high-flying acts.

Food

The Geauga County Fair is a tradition that has been going on since 1823. It is considered one of the oldest continuous county fairs in the state.

It is also one of the oldest agricultural fairs in the nation, according to the Geauga County Fair website.

There are 65 different events happening at the fair, including horse shows, a rodeo, a demolition derby, live music, and a lot of food.

As part of the celebration, the fair will offer free admission on Aug. 31, $8 on Sept. 1, and $10 on Sept. 2-5, with veterans and seniors 65 or older also getting in for free on Sept. 2.

There are 152 acres of space, with 70 buildings filled with 12,000 exhibits and four midways that are packed with food, games, and vendors. Live Entertainment
